Magnifin®

Magnifin® is a high-purity synthetic magnesium hydroxide, known by the chemical name Mg(OH)₂. A patented manufacturing process is employed to produce a uniform fine particle size and regular crystal structure. Standard types or specially coated grades are available to ensure superb end-product properties – even at filling levels above 65%.  

Magnifin® halogen-free flame retardants and smoke suppressants are recommended wherever high flame retardant requirements must be met. They are also ideal for applications where the processing temperature exceeds the decomposition temperature of aluminum hydroxide by going up to 330°C, such as in thermoplastics or the high-speed processing of elastomers.
