Vertex ® 100SA
Vertex® 100 SA is an aminosilane-treated product that provides superior fire performance and enhanced mechanical properties when used to make fire-rated polymeric compounds. The silane treatment promotes coupling of the magnesium hydroxide to the polymer used, providing high dispersion quality and thus enhanced compound performance especially for the high-loading applications. Vertex 100SA can be used in polyolefins and polyamides such as Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6.

Zerogen ® 100 SP
Zerogen® magnesium hydroxide products provide excellent fire retarding and smoke suppression performance for the thermoplastic and elastomeric compounds. The Zerogen® 100 products are characterized by higher chemical purity compared to Zerogen® 50 products and therefore provide further enhanced performance in compound applications where superior electrical properties are needed, e.g. cable primary insulation materials. Zerogen® 100 SP is an ultrafine particle size; low surface area magnesium hydroxide with vinylsilane treatment designed to provide excellent compounding rheology, high-quality powder dispersion and enhanced compound mechanical properties in such polymers as polyolefins, EPR/EPDM and other elastomers.
Zerogen ® 100 SVT
Zerogen® magnesium hydroxide products provide excellent fire retarding and smoke suppression performance for the thermoplastic and elastomeric compounds. The Zerogen® 100 SVT products are characterized by high chemical purity thus suitable for use in the compound applications where excellent electrical properties are needed, such as in cable insulation materials. Zerogen® 100 SVT is an ultrafine particle size magnesium hydroxide with a proprietary surface treatment that provides superior fire performance when used to make fire-rated EVA compounds. The proprietary surface treatment improves smoke suppression efficiency of magnesium hydroxide and increases limiting oxygen index (LOI) of the EVA compound. As a result, lower magnesium hydroxide loading level can be used leading to enhanced rheological and processing performance, and improved compound mechanical properties. The surface treatment also promotes compatibility of the magnesium hydroxide with the polymer and high quality of dispersion.
